Issue 40 | January 11, 2013 | Featuring a Special Graduation Announcement

Recently on Facebook, someone asked if NARHS would be having a graduation.  While NARHS is not going to be hosting our own graduation ceremony this year, we are working with a homeschool group in Maine to still allow our students the opportunity to participate in a graduation ceremony.  Also, there is still time to save a bundle on your tuition!

INSIDE NARHS: Tuition Prices Going DOWN!

This last week, we sent out postcards that should be in mailboxes across the country even now.  If you have not received yours yet, or are an international NARHS family, please visit narhs.org for full details about the deal - $50 discount on tuition and a FREE Log book or Resource Advisor.

We are also thrilled to announce the Atlantic-Pacific Program, offering NARHS families the opportunity to earn a NARHS diploma and a regionally-accredited transcript through our partner program, Customized Education Designs.  Visit theAtlantic-Pacific tab on our website for more information.

Our other big announcement is that for the first time in years, we are reducing tuition.  Starting in the 2013-2014 school year, NARHS tuition will be $495, and we are eliminating the senior year graduation fee.  This means that if you register and pay for 2013-2014 by the end of February, 2013, you can get tuition for only $445, and get your FREE Log Book and Resource Advisor.  Moreover, starting January 1, 2013, you can even pay your tuition online using a Paypal account or credit card.  Visit this page for details on that.

Save $50 per student
Use promo code: 50OFF (Five-Zero-O-F-F) to save $50 on NARHS Tuition when paid by February 28, 2013 and receive a free Log Book or Resource Advisor by mail.  Offer applies to any school year not yet paid for.  Free book may be subject to shipping fees.
Feel free to share this offer with anyone you think would benefit from NARHS!
Offer Expires: February 28, 2013
FEATURED THIS WEEK: A Graduation Announcement

For years, NARHS has held a graduation ceremony in Maine.  This year, most members of our staff are in Yakima, WA, so we will not be having an official NARHS graduation.  There is good news, however!  Maureen Martin, our advisor in Maine, is working with Homeschoolers of Maine (HOME) to allow NARHS students to participate in their graduation ceremony.

The HOME Graduation will take place Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 6:30pm at the Sunday River Resort in Bethel, Maine.  HOME requests that anyone wishing to take part in the ceremony contact them by no later than May 15.  Graduation apparel can be ordered here.

Any student who anticipates graduating during 2013 is welcome to come, even if he or she has not yet graduated by May 15.  Anyone with more NARHS-specific questions about the graduation, please contact Maureen Martin at mmartin@narhs.org.

While the graduation has been the focus of this announcement, it is only a part of the entire HOME Outdoor Education Weekend, so plan to bring the whole family for the entire weekend!

Scott Woodruff, Senior Counsel at the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) is scheduled to be the keynote speaker, so come ready to hear a great message to the graduating seniors, and congratulations in advance to all those students who have reached this momentous milestone in their educational careers.
